Traditionally, before the start and at the end of the summer holidays, the State Automobile Inspectorate conducts a special comprehensive event "Attention – Children".

The preventive campaign will be held from August 25 to September 5. A Unified Road Safety Day, dedicated to the prevention of child road traffic injuries, will be held on August 25 under the slogan "Attention, parents, holidays are over!".

At the beginning of the academic year, patrols of traffic police officers will be stationed closer to educational institutions.

Vehicle drivers must drive with their low beam headlights on during daylight hours while the campaign is underway (Clause 166.9 of the Traffic Regulations).

Traffic police officers recommend that drivers reduce their speed in advance and yield to pedestrians when approaching pedestrian crossings near educational institutions.

State traffic inspectors remind parents that mother and father are the main role models in every child's life.
