This is the name of the mini-museum created in the library premises of the Stai Rural House of Culture. As our grandmothers note, in ancient times a girl was considered the best bride when she had a rich dowry of embroidered clothes, towels, and tablecloths.
Looking at the magnificent exhibits of the museum, you return to the past for a few minutes, to the times of our grandmothers' and grandfathers' youth. It is impossible not to admire the original skill of the needlewomen, who created unusual beauty with their own hands, embodying their inspiration and imagination on fabric. The mini-museum, this unusual corner, presents to the viewer's attention cross-stitched pictures, embroidered towels, napkins, and old household items. The author of the idea of creating this wonderful museum was the head of the Stai Library, Alena Patsela.
We are proud of our past. Our main task is to preserve old household items and pass them on to our descendants, so that future generations do not cease to admire the skill and spiritual beauty of their ancestors.
