September 9, Vitebsk /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. A training session on "National Social Order System. National Referral Mechanism: Standards for Identification and Assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking" will be held in Vitebsk on September 10-11. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee.
Representatives of the International Organization for Migration, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Belarusian Red Cross Society, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, district administrations of the city of Vitebsk, executive committees of Lepel, Liozno and Postavy districts, as well as territorial centers for social services for the population and public organizations of these regions are scheduled to participate in the training.
During the training, explanations of the new version of the law on social services will be provided, and the results of research work on the development of quality standards for social services will be announced; a presentation "Content and Quality Standards of Social Services Provided by Public Associations of Belarus in the Field of Combating Human Trafficking" will be held; an assessment of the possibilities of applying the state social order mechanism in the regions of the oblast will be carried out.
This year, the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, together with the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society (BRCS), is piloting the mechanism for implementing state social orders for providing medical and social home care to certain categories of citizens. Currently, 5 Red Cross nurses are working in the city, serving 46 people at home.
Financing of salary expenses is carried out through the project "From Innovations in the Social Sphere - to a New Quality of Life," which has been implemented throughout 2013 under the program of support for Belarus by the Federal Government of Germany.
