The baby's parents have no criminal record and are not registered, so nothing at first glance foreshadowed trouble in this family. A criminal case has been initiated based on the fact of the murder of a minor, under Part 2 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, the punishment for which provides for up to 25 years of imprisonment, life imprisonment or the death penalty. The suspect in the child's murder has already been detained. "An investigation is currently underway: a complex process of collecting evidence is in progress.
