On August 1, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Three buses with illegal diesel fuel were detained in the Tolochin district, the information and public relations department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.
Employees of the traffic police department and the economic crimes department of the Tolochin District Department of Internal Affairs detained three MAZ buses near the village of Slobodka, en route to the Russian Federation, driven by residents of Fanipol, Dzerzhinsk district, born in 1969 (two) and 1981. They were transporting 1.2 thousand liters of diesel fuel without the appropriate documents. The cost of the fuel is estimated at almost Br9 million. The illegal fuel has been seized, and administrative protocols have been drawn up against the drivers under Article 12.30, Part 3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus.
As explained by the Internal Affairs Directorate, the limit for exporting fuel from Belarus is 100 liters. However, the drivers of these vehicles, in violation of established rules, intentionally stocked up on fuel exceeding the norm.
