Today, adolescents face various issues, including family and school conflicts, unrequited love, unwanted pregnancies, alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, and others.

To provide assistance to adolescents in difficult life situations, consultative groups (gynaecologists, paediatricians, psychologists, urologists) have been established at Youth-Friendly Centres.

The Centres provide FREE, ANONYMOUS, and CONFIDENTIAL assistance to adolescents and young people in maintaining and strengthening their reproductive, psychological, and somatic health (you can seek help anonymously without providing passport details or place of study).

The objective of establishing the Centres is to increase awareness and motivation for a healthy lifestyle, provide conditions for adolescent socialisation, and ultimately improve the reproductive, psychological, and somatic health of young people.

The activities of the Centres are aimed at:

increasing the level of knowledge among adolescents and young people about a healthy lifestyle, reproductive health, and STIs/HIV;

acquiring and strengthening skills for a healthy lifestyle and appropriate social and reproductive behaviour;

forming motivation to apply acquired knowledge and skills in one's own behaviour.

Psychologists provide counselling in the following areas:

parent-child relationships (issues of child-rearing, communication with parents, conflict resolution, understanding between children and parents)

communication problems (shyness, conflict, fear of peers and teachers, fear of public speaking)

emotional problems (anxiety, school phobias, aggression, lack of empathy)

crisis situations (significant loss, unhappy love, loneliness, violence, physical trauma, etc.)
