On 28 November, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Prices for 113 international nonproprietary names of medicinal products are being reduced from today in the pharmacy network of the Vitebsk region, the Health Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. By the instruction of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, last week the Health Department of the Regional Executive Committee conducted a monitoring of price increases for medicines in the region's pharmacy network for January-November 2011. Based on the monitoring results, with the aim of ensuring the price accessibility of vital medicinal products for various population groups, a list of 113 names has been determined for sale with a minimum trade markup. This list includes preparations of both domestic and imported production for continuous use: antihypertensive, cardiac, antipyretic, and others. Prices for these preparations are being reduced by 10% in both the state-owned and commercial pharmacy networks. The implementation of the Regional Executive Committee's order is under constant control of the Department for Antimonopoly and Price Regulation and the Health Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.-0-
