Modern trends and approaches to the digitalization of the economy, artificial intelligence, domestic and secure internet platforms, the Centralized Health Information System – these and other topics were discussed at the "Digital Day" seminar in Vitebsk, organised by the regional executive committee and OJSC "InDevSolutions".

The event was attended by heads and IT specialists of leading organisations in the Vitebsk region – over 100 people, who participated both offline and online. Dmitry Novatsky, Chairman of the Economics Committee of the regional executive committee, noted that digitalization is an integral part of the life of every person and enterprise today. The implementation of modern digital technologies in business processes allows to be competitive in the global market and keep pace with the times, hence the seminar's topic is relevant.

– Digitalization transforms business processes, improving the quality of services and creating new opportunities for each of us. We observe how technologies penetrate all spheres of activity: from education and healthcare to agriculture. This creates new opportunities for business and improves the quality of life for citizens, – emphasised Dmitry Novatsky. – Our common task is to create conditions for the implementation of digital solutions that will contribute to the development of the economy and enhance the competitiveness of our region and country in the international arena. We must work on forming infrastructure, supporting innovation, and also prepare personnel for new challenges.

Seminar participants were able to familiarise themselves with the domestic InDev CMS platform, presented and developed by OJSC "InDevSolutions", as well as learn more about such tools for automating the collection and analysis of indicators as the AIS "Otchet" (Reporting Automated Information System) and the Centralized Health Information System.

– Today's seminar is a kind of practical platform where we discuss advanced digital solutions for various sectors of the Belarusian economy. We exchange experience and outline a specific plan for technology implementation for participants, so that they can subsequently apply this knowledge to build business processes more effectively, understand and use modern IT trends in work and life, – emphasized Oleg Belyakov, General Director of OJSC "InDevSolutions". – We see how, thanks to digitalization and artificial intelligence, new technologies are being introduced into medicine for diagnosing diseases, into logistics for optimizing routes, and into education. We see how more and more IT-related specialities are being opened in our universities. That is, we are keeping pace with the times, observing trends, and implementing them.

Regional seminars "Digital Day" have already taken place in Brest, Grodno, Gomel, and Mogilev, gathering about 2,000 participants.
