Amateur florists from Vitebsk are invited to find inspiration at the "Winter Bouquet" exhibition, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Culture Centre, where it is being held.
The exhibition features over 50 works by the folk club of amateur florists. Intricate floral compositions evoke bright, warming memories of summer and inspire personal achievements. "Life is made for beautiful moments, enjoying beauty, and being in harmony. Flowers combine all of this: created by nature itself and assembled by skilled hands into harmonious compositions, they are capable of lifting anyone's spirits," the staff believe.
For the residents of Vitebsk, the exhibition has become a traditional winter event in the city's cultural life, held in January for over 15 years. "Floristry is a complex, meticulous, but truly beautiful art form. For the authors of the works, the path to the finished picture takes about half a year, from the moment of summer flower gathering to when the skillfully dried plants are assembled into a refined composition," the Culture Centre added.
