The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds: if you encounter fog, use low beam headlights and fog lights, do not switch to high beam, reduce your speed and increase the distance to other vehicles.Adopt a cautious driving style, avoiding sudden braking and lane changes. Refrain from overtaking – this is one of the most dangerous manoeuvres in conditions of poor visibility.
When driving outside the city, be aware of wild animals appearing on the roadway and pay attention to road signs!
Pedestrians should also take care of their safety. In the dark, be sure to use reflective elements. Attach them to your outerwear on all sides and ensure they are visible to drivers. Cross the road only at designated crossings and with extreme caution, having made sure in advance that vehicles have stopped!
