October 7, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Tourist routes across Belarus have been compiled into a register. This was announced to a BELTA correspondent by Vyacheslav Chernov, Director of the National Tourism Agency.
Currently, information on almost 100 excursion routes covering all regions of the country is available to users. Tourists can find a brief description of the route, learn about the duration of the trip, and the tourist infrastructure located along the route. Additional route characteristics are also indicated: its length, type, class, kind, and status. "There is an opportunity to supplement the data of these excursions with objects located near the routes, which will be done in the future," noted Vyacheslav Chernov.
The register was created using data from the State Cadastre of Tourist Resources of Belarus. At the same time, the list continues to be updated with new excursions. Representatives of the tourism business can offer their own developments, which will be included in the register.
The electronic register of excursion routes is currently available on the website of the National Tourism Agency. "The register of routes and excursions is currently presented in a truncated form. Some information from the State Cadastre of Tourist Resources of Belarus, such as educational and methodological documentation, excursion texts, and route technological maps, is not yet available," noted Vyacheslav Chernov.
Also, on the website of the National Tourism Agency, you can use an interactive tourist map of Belarus, which marks protected natural areas and historical and cultural values. In addition, the map helps to navigate socio-cultural facilities in the country: with its help, tourists can find out about nearby hotels, catering facilities, car rental offices, communication facilities (internet cafes, Wi-Fi hotspots), medical, sports, gambling, and many other establishments.-0-
