On October 22, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Vitebsk Winery plans to create a tourist complex. The presentation of this investment project took place within the framework of the International Business Forum, which is being held on October 21-22 in Vitebsk, according to a BELTA correspondent.
It is planned to reorient the winery's wine production to the output of vintage fruit wines, organize tea production, and create a tourist complex based on the enterprise. The complex will include a wine cellar with tasting rooms, a restaurant, a "Tea Barn" cafe with tea tasting facilities, a tea shop with the enterprise's products and souvenirs, and a two-story museum with an exhibition telling about the history of Vitebsk and its role in the fate of the world-renowned artist Marc Chagall. It is planned to create an art gallery in the building, where both famous artists and emerging authors will be able to exhibit their works.
The decision on the tourist reorientation of the winery was made taking into account its unique location: the enterprise is located in the historical central part of the city and is adjacent to the Marc Chagall House-Museum on Pokrovskaya Street, and the main building of the winery is a historical and cultural value of the 19th-20th centuries.
The pre-project proposal for reconstruction was developed by a creative workshop under the leadership of the Honored Architect of Belarus, Leonid Levin. The project cost is $2 million.
The II International Forum "Innovative Business - Investments of the Future" is designed to activate cooperation processes between regions, cities, economic entities, promote the growth of export and investment potential, facilitate the implementation of joint investment projects, and present innovative ideas and developments. The Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee is the organizer of the business forum. -0-
