Cornflower Region

Since 2021, the pilot project "Cornflower Region" has been implemented in the Vitebsk region. Its main goal is the effective use of the region's unique resources to enhance the tourist attractiveness of the Vitebsk region in domestic and foreign markets.

Within the framework of the project, new original routes, weekend tours, quest programs, etc., are being developed. Tourists can obtain information about these from tourist information centres located in the cities and districts of the Cornflower Region.

Various cultural, mass, and other events are held within the project to present the pilot project. All event activities are also branded.

To popularise the pilot project, district craft centres and local artisans in the Vitebsk region have developed and produced over 100 types of souvenirs and over 90 types of printed advertising materials on the theme of the pilot project.

The main tourist brand of the project is the "Cornflower Guide" QR code. By accessing this code, one can find basic information about sites of historical and cultural significance. In all districts of the region, including the Lepel district, these codes can be found on or near landmarks.
