The event will take place at Polotsk State University. 28 top teams from Belarus and Russia will participate in the games. The tournament is a qualifying event for the World Championship in the sports version of the game "What? Where? When?", which will be held in 2019 in Azerbaijan. Among the participants are many well-known names to fans of intellectual games: Ilya Novikov, holder of the "Diamond Owl" and two-time holder of the "Crystal Owl", Stanislav Mereminsky, champion of the television game "Own Game", Ilya Ber, editor-in-chief of the television program "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", and connoisseurs from the Moscow television elite club "What? Where? When?" - Elman Talybov, Mikhail Karpuk, and Daria Solovey.
Winners and prize-winners will be awarded prizes. The event is organised by the intellectual games club "Platinum Owl" of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank", the intellectual club of the Vitebsk Culture Centre, the company "Emprana", the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and the Polotsk District Executive Committee.
