December 26, Lepel /Own. inf./. Not only the city, but also the large rural settlements of the district live an interesting, full cultural life. Domzheritsy, the central estate of the Berezinsky State Reserve, is no exception. Tens of kilometres away from Lepel, vast forest and swamp expanses, a true reserve of pristine nature, are not an obstacle for diverse creative meetings, solo stage performances by local talents, and original musical numbers by amateur art groups on the stage of the local rural House of Culture. Moreover, in Domzheritsy, in addition to a secondary school, there is also a children's art school, where boys and girls from the surrounding villages of the reserve master the skills of stage and musical art.

This time, Svetlana Yakubovskaya, a native of the village of Savsky Bor, visited her fellow villagers. She is the winner of this year's regional review contest in the adult age category in the nomination "Best Poetic Work," titled "My Cradle, Belarus," which was dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas. The poetess read her poems, after each of which there were stormy ovations of approval from local lovers of poetic creativity, who completely filled the auditorium of the Domzheritsky Rural House of Culture. The performance by the folk choir "Berezinochka" of the song "Berezinsky Reserve," with lyrics by Svetlana Yakubovskaya and music by composer Eduard Litvin, was also met with enthusiasm. As a memento of the unforgettable creative meeting with her fellow villagers, Svetlana Yakubovskaya presented the local library with a book of poetry, "On the Wings of Love," which also features her poems. The collection was gratefully accepted by the librarian, Natalya Mironovich.
