The event was organised by the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Lepel District Executive Committee, and the institution "Editorial Office of the newspaper 'Lepelsky Krai'."

The event was organised by the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Lepel District Executive Committee, and the institution "Editorial Office of the newspaper 'Lepelsky Krai'."
Participants of the event were welcomed by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich, who also spoke about our Lepel region, its attractions, and achievements.
For several hours, the challenges faced by district publications were discussed, and tasks were set for the future productive work of regional media. In addition to the working sessions, guests visited the Centre for Social, Labour, Social and Domestic, and Physical Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons and planted trees for the "Alley of Unity" near the Church of the Nativity of Christ.
Besides pressing issues, the heads of print publications had the opportunity to communicate in an informal setting and exchange useful information.
A creative team from CJSC "Capital Television" participated in the field meeting: Kirill Kazakov, Grigory Azarenok, Yulia Artyukh, Alyona Rodovskaya.
Guests from the capital paid special attention to authorial journalism. In the modern world, we receive information from various sources, which is why only the journalist's personal opinion becomes a sought-after media product.
Professional journalists from Minsk also suggested that regional authors should deeply reflect on current events and utilise modern messengers in their work.
As representatives of CJSC "Capital Television" noted, they break down every news item and disseminate it across all social networks and messengers. For instance, their programme "The Week" is broadcast on Sundays and is prepared in advance by the internet service. Interviews are divided into segments and promoted through all available networks. It is not advisable to give lengthy interviews or reports, as they are not popular.
Each member of the creative team has their own channels. For example, Grigory
Azarenok — "Azarenok. STV", where he also promotes other authors of "Stolichnoye Televideniye" (Capital Television). And considering that Grigory has become a very well-known personality this year and has over 5,000 subscribers on his Telegram channel, materials that we want to convey to a large audience are posted there.— When reading various channels, you must understand that on the other side, it's not young Stepan or Anton. There are specialists from special services of various kinds. We, journalists, are called upon to confront very serious people. Their task is to destroy the country and plunder it. Our task is not to let this happen," noted Grigory Azarenok.
— We must react to every critical note. For example, if someone posts a photo online of a bad road or pavement, or a poorly maintained playground, we must show what good has been done, and much more," added Alena Rodovskaya.
Yulia Artyukh:
— I believe it is important to bring authorial journalism to the regions, so that there is a competent opinion of the author, so that they are readable, so that they are listened to. This is a necessary component, in my opinion, in this entire information war.
Alena Rodovskaya:
— I was very interested to hear the stories about what they did, how they work now, what they think about, because it resonates deeply with me. Of course, I wanted to help in some matters, as we did by sharing personal stories.
