Over the past ten months, ten people have died in road traffic accidents on the streets and roads of Lepel district. For comparison, three people died during the same period last year. The traffic police department of the District Department of Internal Affairs has been transferred to an enhanced duty regime.

More than 50 hectares of land have been returned to economic circulation by specialists of the land management service of the district executive committee. As a rule, these plots were once allocated to villagers for personal subsidiary farming, but over time, for various reasons, the owners abandoned them.
Don't Forget to Pay Taxes
November 15 is the deadline for individuals to pay taxes on real estate, land, and rent. Land tax accrued is 452,489 thousand rubles, and as of November 5, 373,649 thousand rubles have been paid, which is 82.6 percent. For real estate, 957,327 thousand rubles have been accrued, and 786,528 thousand rubles have been paid (82.2%). Rent accrued is 134,030 thousand rubles, and citizens have paid 84,086 thousand (62.7%).
