With the aim of ensuring healthy and safe working conditions and preventing industrial accidents during the mass corn harvest, agricultural organizations were visited by Natalia Monchik, Chairperson of the Lepel District Trade Union Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agricultural Industry Workers.

Natalia Erikasovna communicated with the participants of the fodder harvesting campaign:

  — The grain harvest is behind us, however, this does not mean that the 2025 harvesting campaign has ended. The constant hum of engines can still be heard in the fields: corn harvesting is underway.

At the helm of the fodder harvesting combine of KUPSHP "Lepelskoe" is Yuri Levkovich. He confidently and unhurriedly drives the machine across the field, cutting the tall stalks in even rows and sending them, already finely chopped, into the trailers of nearby tractors. Everyone working in the fields today approaches their task seriously and with concentration, as every day is worth its weight in gold, and fodder preparation is one of the most important stages of the agricultural calendar. May the work be fruitful!

  — This year in the Lepel district, it is necessary to harvest 4200 hectares of corn for silage and 910 hectares for grain, in order to procure at least 28 centners of fodder units per conventional head, — commented Alexey Polovtsev, chief specialist of the agricultural production organization department of the agricultural and food administration of the Lepel District Executive Committee.
