The harvesting of flax is being completed in the Sennensky district at an exceptionally rapid pace. Residents of Lepel have come to the aid of their neighbouring agricultural workers in harvesting the "northern silk".

Among those who went to another region were Mikhail Shalgoun from KUSKhP "Lepelskoe" and Alexander Ershov from OAO "Lepelagroservice".

Before departure, the machine operators checked and prepared their equipment. "Everything was greased, all mechanisms were inspected to avoid any downtime, not a single extra day or hour."

Our agricultural workers do not divide the harvest into "ours" or "theirs", as it is important now to work for a common result.

Alexander Ershov noted that one cannot stand aside from helping others – all agricultural workers of the country are doing important and common work. "If you managed yourself, help another," he summarises.

Valery Leshchenok, Chief State Inspector for supervision of the technical condition of machinery and equipment of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the district executive committee, gave parting words to the agricultural workers and conducted a safety briefing.
