Pupils of the 10th-11th grades of the specialized engineering track of Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel, as well as pupils of the 5th-7th grades of the Polsvizh Basic School named after N.N. Tomashevich, visited the Lepel Hydroelectric Power Station during their holidays.

They learned when and for what purpose it was built, how much electricity it produces, and how it works.

Then, the students were reminded of safety measures when using electrical appliances and household equipment, and the inadmissibility of using damaged electrical wiring.

At the end of the excursion, the students learned where they can obtain professions that ensure the operation of the HPP, and electricians for working in power grids.
