At the XXI Republican Competition of Children's Mass Media "Svezhiy Veter" (Fresh Wind), students of the 11th "B" form of Gymnasium No. 3 of Vitebsk named after A.S. Pushkin, Talipskaya Irina, Tratsyevsky Timofey, and Shlyk Anastasia, became winners in the nomination "Best School Blog". The team of young journalists was awarded a 1st degree diploma.

The main requirements for the competition entries in this nomination were: substance and informational richness, relevance, variety of genres, originality of topic disclosure, and author's position. Also evaluated were the visual design of the publication, systematic arrangement of publications, and the presence of feedback with the audience (conducting surveys, campaigns, contests).

By participating in the "Svezhiy Veter" competition, the young journalists from the Vitebsk gymnasium successfully passed all stages: district, city, and regional. The final stage of the competition was held at the NDCC "Zubryonok".

- During the "Press-Info" session, we developed our own Telegram channel, where we shared news about events in Zubryonok, and created a radio program where we discussed interesting topics. Additionally, we produced a magazine that collected articles, photographs, and notes about our adventures at the camp. We filmed a music video showcasing how we spend our time together, trying our hand at being scriptwriters, camera operators, and editors. It was a great experience. The "Press-Info" session was very intensive and interesting, and I am proud to have been able to participate in the "Svezhiy Veter" competition. In my opinion, working in a team is easier and more interesting. When we combine our efforts, everyone can contribute their ideas and experience. This helps in finding more creative solutions and learning from each other. I enjoy discussing tasks with the guys, sharing opinions, and receiving feedback. Moreover, in a team, responsibility can be shared, which makes the work less stressful, - shared Irina Talipskaya.

Timofey Tratsyevskiy believes that the experience of holding the final stage of the competition within the "Press-Info" shift is directly related to journalism. Thanks to participating in the competition, he learned to work with an audience and react quickly to situations. All of this is important for a journalist, who must not only write texts but also be able to conduct interviews, ask questions, and convey information. Timofey is confident that he was very lucky with the team at the NDC "Zubronok". The guys turned out to be creative, and working together was not just easy, but truly interesting. This made him want to get even more involved in the process and come up with something new.

At the solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the final stage of the republican competition "Svezhiy Veter" and awarding the 1st degree diploma in the nomination "Best School Blog", Anastasia Shlyk shared her joy.

- We have come a long way. And we are returning to our native Vitebsk region with a victory! Thanks to the rich program of the "Svezhiy Veter" competition, we have acquired new knowledge and developed skills in journalistic activities. I want to express my gratitude to my parents, as well as to the principal of Gymnasium No. 3 of Vitebsk, Elena Matveeva, the head of the "Young Journalist" club, Olga Bogoslovskaya, the director of the NDC "Zubronok", Tatyana Osmolovskaya, and the shift curator, Vladimir Polishchuk. Their support, attention, and belief in us have made our first steps in journalism truly unforgettable.
