20 July, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. Voting precincts will be formed in Belarus by 21 July inclusive, Secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Nikolai Lozovik told a BelTA correspondent. Voting precincts are to be formed by district executive committees, and in regional centers by city executive committees, local administrations in coordination with the respective district election commissions. Heads of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of Belarus will establish precincts abroad. Information on these will be sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the CEC no later than 23 July. The number of voters in the precincts can range from 20 to 3,000 people. According to legislation, precinct election commissions must be formed no later than 45 days before the elections, meaning they will be formed by 8 August inclusive. Their composition may include 5-19 people. The nomination of candidates for precinct commissions must be completed by 5 August inclusive. Political parties, other public associations, work collectives, as well as citizens of Belarus by submitting an application, are entitled to propose their representatives. The elections of deputies to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the fifth convocation will be held on 23 September.
