Participants of the "Bibli ночь" (BibliNight) project in Polotsk will be invited to recall the best of the Soviet Union era through the event "USSR: A Look from the Future," which will take place at the F. Skorina Central District Library on May 30, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by Anna Potseluykina-Vrublevskaya, Deputy Director of the Polotsk District Centralized Library System.
The library will welcome guests from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Right at the entrance, visitors can participate in the "Games of Our Yard" flash mob: playing hopscotch, dominoes, and other games of that era. Afterwards, they will be treated to a multifaceted interactive program "Soviet Literacy" and a cozy social salon "Through the Prism of Time" featuring quizzes, contests, musical warm-ups, a home economics lesson, and a museum tour.
The children's play area has become a tradition. This time, in the "Timur and His Team" pioneer room, children will be offered a video quiz, interactive art posters, and other exhibits. The "Snezhinka" (Snowflake) buffet and themed photo zones will also be available. The grand finale of BibliNight will be the musical program "Retro Schlager."
"The 'Bibli ночь' project enjoys unwavering success among the city's residents and guests. Participation in this year's program will allow everyone to immerse themselves once again in the atmosphere of Soviet times," added Anna Potseluykina-Vrublevskaya.
