The XXIV scientific and practical conference "Integrated Information Protection" within the framework of the Union State Permanent Committee begins its work in Vitebsk today, as reported to BELTA by the Research Institute of Technical Information Protection (Minsk).
The three-day event will be held at the Vitebsk State Technological University. More than 120 participants will attend: renowned scientists, highly qualified specialists, and representatives of leading organizations engaged in information protection activities from Belarus and Russia. During the conference, they will discuss the official policies of the two states in this field and exchange experiences on technologies and solutions. Special attention will be paid to issues of creating secure information technology facilities, technical information protection, regulatory aspects of ensuring information security, state systems for managing public keys, identification and authentication, current challenges and threats to information security, etc.
A competition for young scientists' reports on the main areas of work is also planned during the conference days.
The conference is organised by the Permanent Committee of the Union State and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia. A collection of materials is planned to be published following the conference.
