The sports and intellectual competition "Dad, Mum, Me - Pervomaiskaya Family" will be held on May 12 on the territory of the former "Sputnik" pioneer camp near Vitebsk. It will be dedicated to the International Day of Families (May 15) and the 72nd anniversary of the Great Victory, as reported to the BELTA correspondent by the organizers.
This event is held annually, but for the first time it has been given such an unusual format. The participants of the competition will be the best families of employees of enterprises, organizations, and institutions of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk. They will have to demonstrate the full spectrum of their sports and other talents, as well as their knowledge of history. The competition program includes a creative performance in the form of a presentation, a quest where participants must find a treasure by solving tasks, puzzles, and riddles. Families will compete in intellect in the quiz "Through the Pages of History" and become defenders of the "Brest Fortress" in a laser tag game.
The event is organized by the administration of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk, the Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of this district, the district structures of the public association "Belaya Rus", the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM), and the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Employees, in conjunction with the district's institutions, organizations, and enterprises. They invite fans, spectators, and all lovers of active recreation to join the event to jointly promote family values. By the way, large families, of which there are over 1.7 thousand in Vitebsk, attract special attention to these values with their example, and some of them are also planning to participate in the competition.
The festive events in Vitebsk do not end there: on May 15, the "Pervomaisky" Cultural and Business Center invites guests and residents of the city to the program "Love Guards the Family Hearth".
