On December 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The share of shipped innovative products in the Vitebsk region by the end of the current year will be about 27%. This forecast was made by specialists of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee in an interview with a BELTA correspondent. Over 10 months of the current year, enterprises in the region produced innovative products worth almost Br8 trillion, or 26.7% of the total volume of shipped products. Vitebskdrev Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) has started producing particleboard panels faced with melamine films. Belkotlomash Limited Liability Company has mastered the production of heating boilers running on peat and a mixture of peat with wood chips. Kokhanovsky Excavator Plant OJSC has begun producing turf laying machines and turf-laying excavators. Postavy Dairy Plant OJSC has launched the production of milk and kefir enriched with the prebiotic complex "Immulin". Postavy Furniture Center Private Enterprise has expanded its product range by manufacturing door units glazed with engraved glass. A new workshop for the production of dry whey has been commissioned at Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Plant OJSC; there are no analogues to this type of product in Belarus. Based on the results of 2011, the region expects a twofold increase in industrial production volumes at current prices and labor productivity compared to 2010, with a sales profitability of 9%. -0-
