Funds under the presidential program "Children of Belarus" were transferred, but the work was not completed. The proven damage amounted to over Br1 billion. A criminal case has been initiated against the former official under Part 3 of Article 424 (abuse of power or official authority), which provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment with possible confiscation of property. In addition, the issue of initiating two more criminal cases against him for similar facts is being considered.
