Within the framework of implementing the subprogramme "Clean Water" of the State Programme "Comfortable Housing and Conducive Environment" for 2021–2025, the unitary enterprise "Vitebskoblvodo-kanal" commissioned nine modern drinking water treatment plants in 11 months of 2025.
The new facilities have been installed in settlements in Lepel, Dubrovno, Glubokoe, Liozno, and Postavy districts.
Thus, the coverage rate of high-quality drinking water for the region's residents reaches 99.9%. By the end of the year, the completion of two more similar facilities is planned, which will allow for the final completion of the "Clean Water" subprogramme.
