Individual entrepreneurs of Belarus applying the simplified taxation system paid Br578.1 billion to the budget in January-September of the current year, which is 8.4% more compared to the same period in 2011. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties. As of October 1, there are 231,860 individual entrepreneurs registered with the tax authorities of the republic, which is almost 9.3 thousand more compared to the corresponding period last year. Of these, over 85 thousand individual entrepreneurs (36.7%) apply the simplified taxation system, their number increased by 13.3 thousand, or by 18.6%, compared to the corresponding period last year. Out of the total number of individual entrepreneurs, 100.6 thousand people (43.4%) are payers of a single tax. Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number in the republic as a whole increased by almost 2.3 thousand, or by 2.3%. In addition, 46.2 thousand individual entrepreneurs (19.9%) apply the generally established procedure for calculating and paying taxes. In total, for nine months, individual entrepreneurs paid Br1.564 trillion to the budget, which in comparable prices is 93.3% of the level of the corresponding period last year. From payers of a single tax, Br695.6 billion was received into the budget from the total amount of payments made by individual entrepreneurs. Br290.4 billion was received from individual entrepreneurs whose taxation is carried out in the generally established manner. -0-
