Preventive control is becoming the main vector of the State Control Committee's activities, stated the Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus, Alexander Yakobson, in an interview with a BELTA correspondent. The head of the control authority participated in a meeting on the results of the livestock industry's performance in the Vitebsk region for January-September 2012. In Belarus, Decree No. 332 on certain measures to improve control (supervisory) activities came into force on October 1, 2012. The document requires controlling and supervisory bodies to change their style and methods of work with an emphasis on preventing offenses. "Preventive control and the prevention of violations are becoming the main vector in the activities of the State Control Committee," emphasized the Chairman of the State Control Committee. In the agro-industrial complex sector, the reconstruction of dairy farms is under the special control of the committee.-0-
