This was announced today to journalists by the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, BELTA correspondent reports. "We have a socially oriented economy. What the population is accustomed to will remain. No cuts in budget expenditures are planned," the Prime Minister said. Moreover, he added that the relevant budget allocations for culture, science, education, and healthcare will grow. Mikhail Myasnikovich recalled that the share of budget expenditures on social programs today exceeds 50%. Touching upon salary issues, the Prime Minister said: "The purpose of the government's activities is to ensure the growth of the population's income. And these incomes will grow in 2011.
