The Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers pay special attention to educating the younger generation, as teaching children safety means laying the foundation for their happy and secure lives. It is important to understand that education is not just a simple enumeration of rules. A child must understand why it is important to follow these rules, rather than just memorizing them.

Educational events were conducted by Tatyana Fedorovich, Propaganda Inspector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, with children from kindergartens No. 5 and No. 6 in the town of Lepel.

Tatyana Vladimirovna held a thematic discussion with the preschoolers on the basics of life safety. During the discussion, the boys and girls not only listened attentively but also enthusiastically answered the questions posed. The preschoolers firmly understood that matches are not toys for children, and play areas must be safe.

During the educational meeting, the children actively learned crucial skills: they reviewed emergency service numbers, identified which items are safe and which can cause harm, and learned how to act in case of a fire.

At the end of the thematic lesson, a pleasant surprise awaited the children – bright and colourful brochures from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which will serve as a convenient "safety cheat sheet" and help them in their daily lives.
