On December 20, Minsk / Liliya Krapivina - BELTA /. The level of payment for housing and communal services by the population in Belarus in 2012 should be at least 35%, and for transport - at least 85%. This was stated today by the First Deputy Minister of Finance, Vladimir Amarin, presenting the draft law on the budget for 2012, according to a BELTA correspondent.
In 2012, the optimization of budget expenditures in housing and communal services and transport will be continued, Vladimir Amarin noted. The planned budget allocations for the next year are determined by the fact that the level of reimbursement of tariffs for housing and communal services for the population by the end of 2012 will be at least 35%, and for transport - at least 85%.
"This will ensure the phased implementation of parameters for reaching a 60% reimbursement level by the population for housing and communal services costs by 2015, in accordance with the program for the socio-economic development of Belarus for the five-year period," the First Deputy Minister noted. It is also envisaged that by 2015, 100% of the costs for public passenger transport services will be covered by the population.
Taking into account the implementation of these approaches, it is planned to allocate Br4.6 trillion for subsidizing housing and communal services in 2012, which is almost 1.5 times more than in 2010. The share of budget subsidies in these costs will decrease from 59% to 51%. -0-
