Sugar beet has been harvested from 39.5% of the areas scheduled for harvesting. The gross yield of sugar beet amounted to 1,456 thousand tons with an average yield of 390 centners per hectare (as of October 1, 2015 - 269 centners).
Vegetables have been harvested from 56.3% of the areas scheduled for harvesting. Vegetable production increased by 15.6% compared to the corresponding date in 2015, amounting to 97.5 thousand tons. The yield is 220 centners per hectare (as of October 1, 2015 - 178 centners).
