The first item on the working trip agenda was a visit to the dairy complex and dairy farm of OJSC "Prozemle-Agro," an agro-industrial enterprise in Chashniki District.
The purpose of the visit was a follow-up inspection of farms that had already been inspected by a group of deputies at the end of February.
This year, Belarusian agricultural producers face significant challenges. They need to produce at least 11 million tons of grain, over 9 million tons of milk, and 2 million tons of meat. For the farmers of Chashniki District, this is a difficult task, considering that the district has over 20 farms built in the 1960s-1970s.
Igor Sergeenko familiarized himself with how the wintering of cattle went at the farm, the situation with the organization of their feeding and keeping, compliance with veterinary and sanitary rules, and technological discipline.
In addition, the Chairman of the House of Representatives inspected the condition of agricultural machinery and spoke with the machine operators.
The quality of livestock keeping and fodder storage conditions are satisfactory. The readiness of machinery for spring field work is 97.3 percent, which exceeds the district's indicator.
