At the meeting, the council participants discussed the implementation of the State Program "Belarus Hospitable" for 2021-2025, the implementation of measures for marketing tourist services, analysed the representation of tourism entities in social networks and the work being carried out in this direction, and also paid attention to historical and cultural, ecological, active and event tourism as promising areas for the development of the district.
As noted by Yuri Mily, Head of the Sports and Tourism Sector of the District Executive Committee, the tourist potential of the Lepel District is primarily based on the diversity and beauty of nature. The main objective of the program implementation is to increase the export of tourist services and implement marketing measures aimed at developing the tourist potential of the district. A developed infrastructure is available for tourist visits to the district. First and foremost, these are accommodation facilities.

1689 beds can be provided for tourist accommodation.
15 operating agro-ecotourism entities provide daily rental of housing (apartments, houses), which offers additional accommodation places.

Catering services are provided by 40 publicly accessible facilities with 1676 seats.
29 tourist and excursion routes and 8 weekend tours have been developed in the district.
State Forestry Institution "Lepel Leskhoz" offers tourists an ecological route 90.5 km long with a map and description of points of interest, accompanied by a guide.
Tatyana Kozlova, Director of the State Institution "Tourist Information Center "Lepel", noted that the center is engaged in the presentation and promotion of the tourist potential of the Lepel District through various formats, including participation in tourism exhibitions, forums, and seminars.
The centre provides information on attractions, including details about historical sites, museums, the natural biosphere reserve, and other points of interest in the Lepel district. Assistance with route planning and information on accommodation are offered. The centre also organises the sale of souvenirs and other educational products.
