"Every day and hour you are at the forefront of the fight against crime. By protecting law and order, the rights, freedoms and lives of citizens guaranteed by the Constitution, you make a significant contribution to maintaining stability in society, strengthening the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Belarus," the congratulation reads.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the personnel of the internal affairs bodies will continue to effectively respond to all challenges and threats, and, multiplying glorious traditions, will serve the Fatherland with honour and dignity.

"On this festive day, I wish all militia employees, veterans, your families and friends good health, family happiness, success in your difficult, but very important and necessary work for the benefit of our country and people," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
