The jubilee medal "75 Years of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi Invaders" has been established. The corresponding Decree No. 134 was signed by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on April 2. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.

The medal is awarded to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, former prisoners of Nazi camps, prisons, ghettos, and other places of forced detention created by the Nazis and their allies during World War II.

In addition, foreign citizens and stateless persons who permanently reside outside Belarus and took direct part in combat operations for the liberation of the country, as well as military personnel of the Armed Forces of Belarus and other military formations, employees of state bodies, and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the heroic-patriotic education of Belarusian citizens, the perpetuation of the memory of the fallen, and the organisation of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the country's liberation, may be awarded this decoration.

The medal is made of brass. Its obverse depicts the obelisk "Minsk – Hero City" and the sculpture of a woman personifying the image of the Motherland. The inscription "The Feat of the People is Immortal" is engraved around the circumference of the medal.
