The procedure for accrediting Belarusian mass media to work in the "Presidential Elections - 2015" Information Centre has been approved.

The information centre of the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus for Elections and Republican Referendums "Presidential Elections - 2015" will operate in the premises of the Palace of the Republic on 11 October 2015 from 9:00 to 24:00 and on 12 October 2015 from 10:00 to 13:00.

Entry of employees of Belarusian mass media into the information centre is carried out upon presentation of an accreditation certificate issued by the State Institution "National Press Centre of the Republic of Belarus" and identity documents.

The National Press Centre of Belarus is responsible for accrediting employees of Belarusian mass media for work in the information centre.

The acceptance of documents for accreditation is carried out from 7 September to 2 October (inclusive) at the National Press Centre at the address: Minsk, Oktyabrskaya St., 5, room 330.

To obtain accreditation, a mass media outlet shall submit an original written request addressed to the State Institution "National Press Centre of the Republic of Belarus" on an official letterhead, signed by the head of the mass media outlet. The request shall specify the media outlet's registration number with the Ministry of Information of Belarus, and the full name, position, editorial and identity document numbers of the employees for whom accreditation is requested.

A mass media outlet (except for TV channels) may request accreditation for no more than three full-time employees.

The accreditation certificate will be issued personally to the accredited employee at the National Press Centre between 6 and 9 October. Representatives of regional mass media outlets will be issued accreditation certificates at the address: Minsk, Oktyabrskaya St., 5, room 330 on election day, 11 October, from 9:00.
