- not having reached the age of fourteen, to ride a bicycle on the road without the accompaniment of an adult (except for pedestrian and residential zones, sidewalks, bicycle and pedestrian paths);

In accordance with subparagraph 2.78 of clause 2 of the Traffic Regulations, road elements include one or more carriageways, tram tracks, sidewalks, pedestrian and bicycle paths (except for bicycle paths located separately from the road), boarding areas located on the carriageway and intended for boarding (alighting) passengers of a route vehicle, safety islands, demarcated structurally or by horizontal road markings, separation zones, median strips, railway crossing surfaces, and shoulders. Bicycle crossings and pedestrian crossings, by virtue of subparagraphs 2.6-1 and 2.49 of clause 2 of the Traffic Regulations, are parts of the carriageway.
In addition, a pedestrian under the age of 14 is prohibited from using personal mobility devices (except in pedestrian and residential zones). In other words, children under 14 years of age may use personal mobility devices exclusively in pedestrian and residential zones.
From the age of 14, cyclists and pedestrians using personal mobility devices, as well as cyclists under 14 years of age accompanied by an adult, must be guided by the general requirements of the Traffic Regulations when crossing the carriageway, i.e., reduce speed in advance, ensure that entering the carriageway is safe, and cross it at the speed of a walking pedestrian.
