Due to the onset of warm, dry weather, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Chapter 2 of the "Forest Fire Safety Rules of the Republic of Belarus 2.38-2010", in order to prevent emergencies in the forests, adjacent territories and peatlands of the Lepel district, to ensure reliable fire protection of settlements, forests, peatlands, places of mass gathering of people and agricultural production facilities, the Lepel District Executive Committee has decided:
- to prohibit the visiting of forests and peatlands, as well as their adjacent territories, from August 8, 2015, until further notice.


Violation of this prohibition entails administrative liability:
Article 15.29. Violation of fire safety requirements in forests or peatlands.
1. Violation of fire safety requirements in forests or peatlands, or a prohibition on visiting them, which has not resulted in damage, shall entail a warning or a fine of up to twenty-five base units.
2. Violation of fire safety requirements in forests and peatlands, which has resulted in the destruction or damage of forests or peatlands, shall entail a fine from twenty-five to fifty base units.
