Justification
for the necessity of the planned activity
Object:
"Construction of forestry road No. 1 in the Experimental Forestry "Barsuki", Vitebsk region".
The State environmental institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve" has decided to construct forestry road No. 1 for forestry management, ensuring the implementation of the entire complex of forestry operations, for the transportation of timber to processing sites, and for forest fire protection.
The project provides for: rational use of existing areas, a rational scheme for transport and pedestrian servicing of facilities, and measures that minimise negative environmental impact and ensure environmental cleanliness.

The decision to permit design and survey work and construction of the facility was made by the Lepel District Executive Committee on 28.01.2020, No. 90.
Location of the planned activity
The land plot for the construction of forestry road No. 1 is located in the protected zone of the State environmental institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve", on the lands of the Experimental Forestry "Barsuki", and is located at the address: Vitebsk region, Lepel district. This option of planned activity is the most priority in terms of environmental impact.

Applications submitted after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
