In accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Public Discussions in the Field of Architectural, Urban Planning and Construction Activities, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.06.2011 No. 687, as amended by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 10.02.2014 No. 109, the Lepel District Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Lepel District Executive Committee) hereby notifies about the public discussion of the project: "General Plan of the City of Lepel", developed by UP "BELNIIGRADOSTROITELSTVO".

The project implementation is planned within the boundaries of the city of Lepel on a land plot with an area of 2154.2 hectares.

The organiser of the public discussion is the Lepel District Executive Committee. Location: Vitebsk region, Lepel, Leninskaya Street, 6.

The public discussion will commence on 05.01.2018 and conclude on 29.01.2018 inclusive.

The exhibition and other materials of the general plan can be viewed from 05.01.2018 to 19.01.2018 daily, except Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 to 17:00 in office No. 107 on the 1st floor of the Lepel District Executive Committee building at the address: Lepel, Leninskaya Street, 6.

Comments and/or proposals regarding the public discussion will be accepted during the period of the public discussion from 05.01.2018 to 29.01.2018 inclusive. Written comments and/or proposals can be submitted from 8:00 to 17:00 in the public discussion logbook located in office No. 107 of the Lepel District Executive Committee; by postal service: 211174, Vitebsk region, Lepel, Leninskaya Street, 6; via the Internet website: lepel.vitebsk-region.gov.by.

The submitted comments and/or proposals regarding the public discussion of the object will be forwarded for consideration to the Architectural and Urban Planning Council of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, represented by the Chief Architect of the Vitebsk Region, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Yu. Ch. Vyzhykovsky.

The project aims to define the strategy for socio-economic and territorial development of the planning structure and functional zoning of the territory until 2030: enhancing the city's economic potential through the development of the tourism and recreation sector; defining the optimal planning structure and functional zoning of the territory; principles of environmental protection, development of the public service system, transport and engineering infrastructure.

Information on the results of the public discussion will be available on the official website of the Lepel District Executive Committee lepel.vitebsk-region.gov.by in the "Public Discussions" section, on the information stands of the Lepel District Executive Committee, and in the mass media.
