Justification for the necessity of the planned activity

Transformation of the territory of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of July 26, 2019 No. 279 "On Amendments to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus" (of February 9, 2012 No. 59).

Information on the decision to be made regarding the economic and other activities and the state body responsible for making such a decision

In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 32 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 15, 2018 No. 150-3 "On Specially Protected Natural Territories", the development of a management plan for a specially protected natural territory is ensured by the state environmental institution managing the reserve.

Territory of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve and its protection zone.

Implementation period of the planned activity

Project implementation – 2021-2030, duration – 10 years.

Application for the necessity of public hearings (meetings) and application for the intention to conduct public environmentalexpert opinions can be sent to the Lepel District Executive Committee of Vitebsk Region, at the address: 211174, Lepel, Leninskaya St., 6, tel.: +375(02132) 67046, (from 10.11.2021 to 24.11.2021). In case of a public statement on the need to hold a meeting to discuss the management plan draft, the date and place of its holding will be announced no later than three working days from the date of application, by posting an announcement on the official website of the Lepel District Executive Committee and publication in the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai".

Applications submitted after the specified deadlines will not be considered.
