For the third time, the Republican Forum of Rural Women was held in the capital. It brought together about 300 women – employees of the agricultural sector and processing industry from all regions.

  Representatives of the Lepel district were among the participants of the republican event. Traditionally, the event opened at the Bolshoi Theatre. The forum of rural women is not just a celebration for hardworking women. It is also a platform for communication and experience exchange.

  Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus:

  These are wonderful women, hardworking, intelligent, talented, and most importantly – devoted to their native land and our Motherland. And we are happy that these women not only engage in hard work in agriculture but also have a serious civic stance. They are members of the Belarusian Women's Union, our women's organization in our country. Therefore, of course, we always celebrate with great joy the women who work in such a challenging field.
