In Belarus, approximately 36.9% of the total volume of housing commissioned in January-July is intended for citizens registered as in need of improved housing conditions, the National Statistical Committee informed BELTA.
Organizations of all ownership forms have built 20.7 thousand apartments. 1850.7 thousand sq.m of total housing area have been commissioned. 682.5 thousand sq.m of total area, or 36.9% of the total volume of commissioned housing, is intended for those on the waiting list.
Out of the total volume of housing commissioned for those in need of improved housing conditions with state support, 470.5 thousand sq.m have been built.
In rural settlements, 610.5 thousand sq.m of total housing area have been commissioned, or 33% of the total commissioning in the country.
