It is estimated that the number of employees who have opted to increase their pension amount is gradually growing. According to the latest data, over 6,000 people are receiving pensions with a "bonus," the Deputy Minister informed.

Responding to a question about whether the conditions for deferred pensions are planned to be revised "due to their unattractiveness," Valery Kovalkov noted: "The conditions for 'rewarding' citizens for continuing to work after reaching the general retirement age without receiving a pension were adopted considering the financial capabilities of the pension fund. The issue of their attractiveness is debatable. On average, the period of work after pension assignment is five years. During this time, one can increase their pension amount by 70%. For comparison, in Russia, over the same period, one can increase their pension amount by 50%."

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is monitoring the application of this norm, assessing its demand.
