13 September, Minsk /BelTA/. More than 700 state organisations in Belarus have migrated their information systems to the state cloud. This was announced by Oleg Sedelnik, General Director of JV "Belarusian Cloud Technologies" LLC, at a press conference in BelTA.
"The migration of state organisations to the cloud has been underway for quite some time within the framework of Decree No. 46, according to which state bodies and organisations are required to host their information systems and resources in this cloud. For us, this is a priority area, the main task, the key issue of which is ensuring information security," the General Director emphasised.
According to his information, more than 700 organisations have already hosted their resources in the state cloud. "In accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers, a schedule for this migration has been approved. It will be reviewed annually, taking into account current realities. State organisations are assessing the feasibility of migrating their systems there. However, the positive aspect is that the value of secure state clouds is already recognised by users, including state employees, and the understanding of this has significantly increased, allowing for close and effective partnership work," added Oleg Sedelnik.
