16 March, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The number of mandatory primary accounting documents to be used in Belarus will be reduced. The corresponding Decree No. 114 "On Certain Issues of Primary Accounting Documents Application" was signed by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko on 15 March, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader. The document is adopted to implement certain measures of Directive of the President of Belarus No. 4 of 31 December 2010. The Decree provides for a significant reduction in mandatory primary accounting documents, a decrease in the number of mandatory information contained therein, and the non-application of administrative responsibility for the absence and (or) indication of unreliable information, which is not mandatory, in these documents. The adoption of this Decree will simplify accounting for business entities, enhance its automation, liberalise entrepreneurial activity, improve the investment climate in the country, and raise Belarus's position in the ranking of countries by ease of doing business. The Decree comes into force on 1 April 2011.-0-
