On September 24, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. A quorum parliament has been elected in Belarus, with 109 deputies elected. This was announced today to journalists by the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Lidiya Yarmoshyna, as reported by a BelTA correspondent. "A deputy has not been elected in only one electoral district. This is in Gomel region – the Novobelitsky electoral district," explained Lidiya Yarmoshyna. She added that elections in this district took place, "however, they were uncontested, and as a result, the candidate was not voted for by an absolute majority of voters." In this regard, repeat elections will be held in the district. The Head of the CEC said that most likely, the election of a deputy to the House of Representatives in this district will be combined with another election campaign: "The nearest campaign is the election of deputies to local councils."
